Arab Combined Cycling Championship in Sharjah: Morocco Wins Three Gold Medals in Mountain Bike Event

The Moroccan national mountain bike team won three gold medals on Sunday in the first day of the cross-country competitions of the second Arab combined championship, held in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, from December 18 to 27, with the participation of 17 Arab countries’ teams.

 

The medals were won by the champion of Africa and the Arab world (2021), Rajaa Chakir in the junior category, Youssef El Gharrissy, Arab champion (2021) in the same category, both members of the Association Souk Sebt Ouled Nema, in addition to Wissal Baoubbou in the category of under 23 years.

 

So far, Morocco harvests seven medals: three gold, three silver and one bronze.
