Turkish airport operator TAV Airports has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Uzbekistan ministry of Innovative Development to modernize the Central Asia country’s airports and to build a new airport in capital Tashkent.
TAV Airports CEO & President Sani Şener signed the agreement with Deputy Minister Oybek Norinbaev this week.
“We’ll work towards developing and modernizing airports in Uzbekistan, cooperation in fields of adopting new technologies and advancing the human resources,” Sener said.
The both sides also agreed to cooperate in the fields of joint investment and innovative projects.
TAV Airports, a member of Groupe ADP, operates 15 airports in eight countries.
