Bahraini and Japanese leaders have celebrated lately the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, by renewing firm resolve and commitment to foster further partnership in all sectors.
According to King Hamad Bin Eisa Al Khalifa, the two countries look forward to enhancing cooperation ties in the fields of defense, commerce, education and other sectors.
They are also planning to set up a Japanese scientific foundation to help train Bahrainis in modern technology.
On this occasion, Japan has been picked up for the expansion of Bahrain Refinery as part of a $1.5 billion development program boost its productive capacity. In return, Tokyo has pledged to teach Bahrainis satellites technologies.
