Hybrid and Media Group International (MGI) have agreed to a dealership agreement which will enable MGI to sell and support Hybrid’s products in the region in its offices in Qatar, UAE, Oman, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. Hybrid is a company specialized in real-time graphics and robotic camera systems.
Hybrid CEO, Olivier Cohen, said he is “confident” about the deal and believes that MGI will further expose its products in the region. He hailed the potential of MGI and added that he is “very impressed with how they work and their commitment to their broad customer base.” MGI boasts of more than three decades of regional experience and has been diversifying its business in recent years. It has been expanding its services in the region through partnership deals with different companies such as HoloVis International and VidiGo which are both active in audiovisual technologies.
MGI UAE Sales director, Paul Wallis, said they are ready to learn about Hybrid’s technology in order to share it with its customers. He said the products are “very innovative and fit perfectly into our current lineup” as he foresees a “significant market” for its virtual studio in a box [NEON] system because it’s cost effectiveness and user-friendly system compared to other products available in the market; it will surely attract corporations, government organizations, schools and news organizations of all sizes.
MGI will support and sell Hybrid’s flagship Krypton 3D tracking virtual studio solution, the NEON trackless virtual sets, the Chrome broadcast robotic jib, and Hybrid’s entire line of robotic camera systems. MGI which was formally known as Salam Media Cast has concluded partnerships with more than 20 companies amongst which are Canon, Cisco Systems Inc., JVC, Oracle, Sony and etc.
