The Kuwait Interior ministry Tuesday announced the suspension of tourist and family visas until further notice in view of preparing a new mechanism with regulations to organize for visa procedures, reports say.
“The move aims to prepare a new mechanism with regulations to organize for visa procedures,” the ministry said in a statement. The statement also reportedly added that the move will allow the Residency Affairs Department to come up with regulations to sort and improve the visa issuing process.
The decision will be reinforced on Monday.
