The kingdom of Saudi Arabia will, from end of December, fill job positions in three sectors with local skills in a move to create to 10,000 jobs, reports say.
The sectors include customs clearance, driving schools, and engineering technical professions, the media say.
Authorities expect 2,000 jobs in customs clearance sector to Saudis and up to 8,000 jobs in the driving schools sector.
The new workers will earn SR5, 000 ($1,331) monthly in line with the required Saudization percentage, Zawya reports citing Al Arabiya.
The kingdom’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development had revealed the localization of 20 professions and activities in a number of sectors, creating more than 378,000 jobs in 2021, media note.
