Morocco hosts International Forum on Africa economic integration

More than 200 eminent personalities, businessmen, decision-makers, diplomats and intellectuals will gather Jan.25 in Morocco’s capital (Rabat) to look into ways of building up and promoting Africa’s economic integration to enable the continent speed up development process.
Dubbed “Rabat Forum“, this international event is convened at a time the world is rocked by the Euro crisis and Arab Spring, while the African continent stands out as the most promising growth zone offering investors huge business opportunities.
The agenda features debates and presentations focusing on the political and economic situation in Africa, the issues of food security, good governance and sustainable development.
The speakers will exchange views on how to spur market momentum & support niche industries. They will also review the role of media & cultural exchange to rev up African regional economic integration.
Participants will also discuss Morocco’s growing trade relations with African countries and its strategic position making the North African kingdom a platform for investment in Africa.
