Kuwait’s first private airline Jazeera Airways has placed orders for 28 airbus aircrafts for a value of $3.4 billion (KWD 1.03) as part of plans to expand and renew fleet.
The orders concerns 20 A320neos and eight A321neos. Per the agreement, the airline can order five additional, Zawya notes citing the company. The deal would have no immediate impact, but was expected to have a medium and long term positive effects, the company also indicated.
The company, Zawya notes, reported a KWD 11.8 million profit in the third quarter of 2021, following a loss of KWD 5.59 million in the third quarter of 2020.
