The UAE has launched several infrastructure projects worth $272 million to connect cities and shorten distances across the Emirates, Zawya reports citing Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
“With Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, we launched major infrastructure projects worth AED1.9 billion,” said the Dubai ruler.
The projects, three in number, will connect Sharjah’s Mleiha with Abu Dhabi’s Al Shuwaib; Hatta Dubai with Ajman’s Masfout and Al Qour Mountain in Ras Al Khaimah; and Sharjah’s Al Madam with Hatta Dubai.
“Infrastructure has been steadily developing since the formation of our country and we will continue building the UAE relentlessly,” Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum added.
