Qatar and Angola have signed Sunday several agreements on the promotion and protection of mutual investments, on economic, commercial and technical cooperation, as well as on cooperation in the field of ports and maritime transport, the Qatari news agency QNA reported.
The signing of the agreements was overseen by emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Angolan President Joao Manuel Lourenco, who started Saturday a three-day visit to Qatar.
Besides talks with the Emir of Qatar, president Lourenco also met a group of Qatari business people. He invited them to invest in his oil rich country and benefit from the attractive investment climate and opportunities it offers in various sectors.
