Kuwaitis who have not been vaccinated against covid-19 will not be able to travel abroad from August 1, the Gulf country said Tuesday according to media reports.
The directive does not apply to children under age of 16, those with a Health ministry certificate saying they cannot be vaccinated, and pregnant women who have a pregnancy proof certificate from authorities.
As of arrivals, the Gulf country Tuesday indicated, people must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test before they board their flights and must not be showing any symptoms.
Once in the country, all arrivals must be home quarantined for seven days unless they take a COVID-19 PCR test inside Kuwait that comes out negative, reports say.
The Arab country also on Monday eased some measures to curb the pandemic. All activities and gatherings which include conferences, weddings, and social events, have received the greenlight.
