Kuwait Monday said citizens who have not been vaccinated against covid-19 will not be able to travel out of the country from May 22.
The directive coming from the cabinet does not include people in age groups ineligible to receive vaccinations, reports say citing the ministry of information. The Gulf country also said non-Kuwaitis are banned from entering the country. The new measure the cabinet noted is meant to accelerate the vaccination process.
The Arab country on May 3 reported 1,246 new Covid-19 cases and 12 related deaths from Tuesday analyses that were made. The infection toll now stands at 277,832 while the death count equals 1,590.
