U.S-based ride-hailing company, Uber, has named Saad Pall, new General Manager (GM) of the company in the Middle East and North Africa as well as Pakistan.
Pall, per the company’s decision, will oversee the company’s operations in 36 cities across eight regional countries.
From his Dubai office, Saad will work in tandem with in-market teams to help identify areas of growth, set regional priorities, and drive the business.
Pall displays 15 years of strategy and marketing experience from the US, Singapore and Pakistan. Pall is also an MBA graduate from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and a B.Eng. from National University of Singapore, Pall was Uber GM in Pakistan.
He is taking over from Abdellatif Waked, who is now heading Uber’s business across the Middle East and Africa.
