Saudi Arabia to unveil “Made in Saudi” to spur local products, services

Saudi Arabia will launch on March 28 “Made in Saudi”, a national policy aiming at supporting national product and services, Arab News reports.

The initiative, the media notes, stems from the keenness of crown prince Mohamed bin Salman (MbS) to support national products and increase their competitiveness both at home and abroad, as well as raising awareness of, and confidence in, their general level of high quality.

MbS is spearheading the kingdom’s 2030 vision aiming at “modernizing” the kingdom.

Bandar bin Ibrahim Alkhorayef, minister of industry and mineral resources, and chairman of the Saudi Exports Development Authority will unveil the initiative at a virtual event.
