Saudi and Riyadh-headquartered storage and delivery startup Diggipacks has acquired shares in its Egyptian counterpart FWRUN and will expand its business in the country, Arab News reports, citing a statement from the company.
Per the acquisition, both companies will exchange expertise, resources, and technology, as well as support their expansion between Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Founded in 2020, Diggipacks aggregates last mile and fulfillment companies, enabling retailers to move their parcels with ease.
The startup raised in a $400,000 pre-Seed funding round from YOUXEL Ventures, OQAL, as well as other Saudi angel investors. FWRUN offers a fulfillment center with storage facilities and handling services.
